Step 1 — Install and open the Windows server

On your Windows PC, install and open Presentation Control Server.

The server helps manage the connection between your Android phone and your Windows PC.

The server can show important connection information such as:

• Server status
• PC IP address
• TCP port
• QR code pairing
• Connected phone status
• Connection activity
• System tray status
• Server notifications

Make sure the server is running before trying to connect from your Android phone.

Step 2 — Open Presentation Control on Android

Open the Presentation Control app on your Android phone.

The app can connect to your Windows PC using:

• Automatic server discovery
• QR code pairing
• Manual IP connection

For best results, keep your Android phone and Windows PC connected to the same local Wi-Fi/LAN network.

Step 3 — Connect using automatic discovery

Automatic discovery is the easiest method when both devices are on the same network.

  1. Open Presentation Control Server on Windows.
  2. Open Presentation Control on Android.
  3. Choose the automatic discovery option.
  4. Select your PC when it appears.
  5. Wait for the connection to complete.

After connection, your phone becomes a wireless presentation remote.

Step 4 — Connect using QR code

QR code pairing is useful for fast setup.

  1. Open Presentation Control Server on your Windows PC.
  2. Find the QR code shown on the server screen.
  3. Open Presentation Control on your Android phone.
  4. Choose QR code pairing.
  5. Scan the QR code from the Windows server.
  6. Wait for the app to connect.

Once connected, you can control your presentation and mouse from your phone.

Step 5 — Connect manually using IP address

Manual connection is useful if automatic discovery does not find your PC.

  1. Open Presentation Control Server on Windows.
  2. Copy the IP address and port shown in the server window.
  3. Open Presentation Control on Android.
  4. Choose manual IP connection.
  5. Enter the PC IP address and port.
  6. Tap connect.

Make sure the IP address and port are typed correctly.

Step 6 — Choose a presentation profile

Presentation Control includes profile concepts designed for different presentation workflows.

Available profiles can include:

• PowerPoint
• Google Slides
• LibreOffice Impress
• WPS Presentation
• Canva
• Generic Presentation Mode

Choose the profile that matches your presentation software or use the generic profile if you are not sure.

These names are compatibility examples only. Presentation Control is not affiliated with or endorsed by those software brands.

Step 7 — Open your presentation on Windows

Open your presentation file or web presentation on your Windows PC.

You can use Presentation Control with different presentation environments, depending on your setup, such as:

• Desktop presentation software
• Browser-based slides
• Office presentation workflows
• Classroom or meeting room setups

Make sure the presentation window is focused on your Windows PC before using the remote controls.

Step 8 — Use slide controls

Use the presentation remote screen on your Android phone to control your slides.

Depending on the selected profile and focused application, you can use controls for:

• Next slide
• Previous slide
• Start presentation
• Stop or exit presentation
• D-pad navigation
• Playback controls

The fixed layout is designed to be simple and easy to use during real presentations.

Step 9 — Use touchpad mode

Presentation Control also includes touchpad and mouse control.

Supported touchpad gestures:

Mouse buttons:

• Left click
• Middle click
• Right click

Use touchpad mode when you need to move the pointer, click buttons, open files, scroll pages, or control your presentation software from a distance.

Step 10 — Test before presenting

Before using the app in a real presentation, test the connection and controls.

Recommended test:

  1. Open the Windows server.
  2. Connect the Android app.
  3. Open your presentation.
  4. Focus the presentation window.
  5. Test next and previous slide.
  6. Test touchpad movement.
  7. Test left click and right click.
  8. Confirm that the selected profile works correctly.

Testing before your session helps avoid problems during a class, meeting, lecture, or conference.

Troubleshooting

If your phone cannot connect:

• Make sure phone and PC are on the same Wi-Fi/LAN network
• Make sure Presentation Control Server is open and running
• Allow the server through Windows Firewall if Windows asks
• Try QR code pairing
• Try automatic discovery again
• Try manual IP connection
• Restart the Android app and Windows server
• Check that the IP address and port are correct

If slide controls do not work:

• Make sure your presentation window is focused
• Check that the correct profile is selected
• Try the Generic Presentation Mode
• Make sure the presentation software accepts keyboard shortcuts
• Test with another presentation app or browser
• Reconnect the phone and server if needed

If mouse control does not work:

• Make sure the phone is connected to the server
• Check that the Windows server shows an active connection
• Try moving the cursor slowly first
• Test left click in a simple Windows window
• Restart the server if needed

Important notes

• Presentation Control requires the Windows server app
• Phone and PC must be connected to the same local Wi-Fi/LAN network
• Windows Firewall permission may be required
• Compatibility depends on presentation software, browser, focused window, and selected profile
• This app is designed for presentation control and mouse control, not full remote desktop screen streaming

Presentation Control gives you a focused Android-to-Windows presentation workflow: open the server, connect your phone, choose a profile, open your slides, and present with confidence.
